Accounting Manager

Our client, a growing logistics and manufacturing company, is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations while partnering closely with leadership to support business growth and financial performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys balancing strategic financial analysis with operational involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Oversee general accounting, cost/project accounting, and financial analysis activities
• Develop and enhance reporting tools, KPIs, ERP systems, and management dashboards
• Analyze operational and financial performance, including margins, inventory, and profitability trends
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and financial procedures
• Partner across departments to drive process improvements and profitability
• Coordinate external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting
• Mentor and develop accounting team members

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• BA in Accounting or related field
• Strong manufacturing accounting experience required
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
• Tech savvy - great in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
